Welcome to Sea Glass, your perfect getaway on the rugged coast of Maine! As glass artists who spend half the year here, we lovingly share our home on VRBO for the summer months. This isn’t just a rental; it’s our home, continuously updated and maintained with care. We hope you feel as at home here as we do.
A Unique Coastal Retreat
Sea Glass is a contemporary saltbox house, offering 200 feet of private oceanfront and situated on 1.5 acres of spruce and birch trees. The house boasts breathtaking views of Prospect Harbor and the bold ocean. Inside, you’ll find new bedding, furniture, and local art adorning the walls. Each bedroom has stunning ocean views and either an ensuite full bath or a dedicated full bath.
The entire third floor is a versatile bonus area featuring an art studio, a space for puzzles and games, and a yoga spot with three skylights offering fantastic views. It’s an ideal retreat for couples and families, designed to make everyone happy.
Morning to Evening Bliss
Start your day with coffee on the deck, watching the sunrise and the lobster boats heading out to sea. Shop at the local lobster/fish co-op and nearby farm markets, then prepare a feast in our well-appointed kitchen. The outdoor patio dining area, complete with a Weber gas grill and lobster pot, is perfect for alfresco dining. As the day winds down, relax by the “smokeless” fire pit with wood provided, and enjoy a game of Petanque (similar to Bocce) on our new court. The night sky here is mesmerizing, with views of the Prospect Harbor and Petit Manon lighthouses in the distance.
Modern Amenities
Sea Glass is equipped with full cable TV and access to selected streaming services. The entire house has 300 Mbps Wi-Fi, and cell service, especially Verizon, is excellent throughout the property and surrounding area. Use the SONOS app to control the SONOS speakers placed throughout the house for your musical enjoyment.
This spring, we upgraded our water system to a state-of-the-art super-filter system, ensuring excellent quality water at every faucet. The home also has a whole-house generator to keep things running smoothly in case of a power outage. Coastal Posh, our management company, is available to assist with booking and any questions you might have about the property.

Sea Glass is perfectly located near the Schoodic Peninsula, part of Acadia National Park, and the charming harbor towns of Corea and Winter Harbor. The area is rich with artist studios and galleries, and there are abundant hiking and biking trails to explore. When you book with us, we’ll send you a welcome letter with recommendations for the best local restaurants, trails, and points of interest.
